Achievement & Recognition Awards

The CASE District I Board of Directors is pleased to announce the 2012 Distinguished Service and Recognition Award winners!

Each year, CASE District I recognizes outstanding individual contributions to education through volunteer leadership and professional achievement with six awards.

Nominations are sought from throughout the membership, and recipients are honored at a gala during the District I Annual Conference.

Communication Awards

The CASE District I Board of Directors is pleased to announce the 2012 Communication Awards winners!

The CASE District I Communication Awards recognize outstanding achievement in higher education, independent school, and non-profit organization communications. Judges assess overall design, content and writing, and use of photography, graphics, and technology.

SCHOLARSHIPS

As part of our ongoing commitment to support diversity in the Advancement profession, we provide the following scholarships:

CASE District I Conference Scholarships

CASE District I is offering scholarships for new and experienced CASE District I members hoping to attend the 2012 CASE District I and District II Conference, January 22-24, 2012 at the New York Marriott Marquis in New York, NY.

Ten scholarships are available for the 2012 conference for CASE District I members. This year, the scholarship stipend covers the conference fee and two nights at the Marriott Marquis.

The scholarships will be awarded to both new and experienced professionals who need financial assistance to attend the conference. Diversity will be one of the factors considered in the selection of scholarship recipients.

Scholarship recipients or their institutions will be responsible for expenses related to travel, lodging beyond the two nights, and food costs.

The 2012 Conference Scholarship deadline was Monday, October 17, 2011.

Summer Scholar Program

CASE District I supports diversity in the Advancement profession and encourages students to explore this growing field.

Open to college juniors, seniors, and graduate students or new advancement professionals, with one to three years of full-time employment at a CASE District I member institution, the 2011 Summer Scholars Program will support the full cost for two (2) qualified individuals to attend one of the following CASE Summer Institutes: Advancement Services held July 10-14, 2011 in Burlington, VT at the University of Vermont; Educational Fund Raising held July 24-28, 2011 at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH; Communications and Marketing or Alumni Relations both taking place in Burlington, VT at the University of Vermont, July 31-August 4, 2011. The candidate and the host institution sponsor will select the Summer Institute most appropriate for the candidate’s skills and interests.
