Professional Development Center

Our revamped Professional Development Center (PDC) has been designed to offer a higher level of customer service and privacy. Job seekers will find position descriptions available for viewing on an Internet site that is accessible from computers in the PDC or from your hotel room during the conference. You can also access tips on preparing for interviews, interviewing candidates and writing great cover letters. Our PDC sponsor, the University of Michigan, will be available for conversation regarding their openings. A representative from CASE will also be available to provide tips and direction on using the CASE Internet site for your own search.

Prospective employers can post position descriptions online (limited to 50 words), with an electronic link to your own website (and a more extensive job description). If staff at your institution or organization register for the conference, there is no charge for this posting. If no one from your institution is attending, there will be a fee of $100 for the first posting and $50 for each subsequent position (paid in advance).
