Emerging Leaders

Attention mid-career professionals!

Do you see yourself as an emerging leader in the advancement field?  Now in its third year, the Emerging Leaders track is designed for professionals who are growing leaders within one of the advancement professions.  Professionals with 4-9 years experience are invited to participate in four special workshops designed specifically for rising leaders.  Attendees will participate in interactive sessions addressing leadership, management, career growth and trends in the field.  Key Decision Makers are also encouraged to recommend their own “Emerging Leaders” to attend. A networking event on Saturday night will teach you to maximize your effectiveness in any social setting.

New Professionals

The New Professionals to Advancement track is designed for development professionals who have less than three years of professional experience, are new to the field of educational advancement, or new to their current position within their organization. Attendees will receive broad-based exposure to the disciplines of annual giving, alumni relations, major gifts, and communications and learn how the four disciplines can work effectively together to solve problems and to meet and exceed fundraising and programming goals. The sessions are designed to be interactive and will be conducted by seasoned professionals who will provide you with tools and advice to not simply survive, but thrive in your advancement career. A networking event on Saturday night will teach you to maximize your effectiveness in any social setting.
