Transportation into New York
There are three different airports which you can use to fly into New York City. JFK International Airport (JFK), LaGuardia Airport (LGA), and Newark International Airport (EWR).
Cab fares will generally be higher to and from Newark Airport, and LaGuardia is closer to Manhattan than JFK.
Travel Requirements
Due to increased security measures in all airports, passengers must arrive three hours before an international flight, and two hours before a domestic flight. Be sure to bring a government-issued photo identification, such as a passport or driver's license. In addition, there are tight restrictions on what is allowed in carry-on luggage.
